Our school event may include:
- school orientation days

Intensive Swimming
In Week 7, our Jarjumeer enjoyed a fun week at the Ballina pool, learning water safety, swimming, beach and sand dune safety, plus basic first aid skills to help them stay safe and confident near water.
On Country Excursion
During Week 8, our school had a special day with local Indigenous Protected Areas (IPA) Rangers. We learned all about the local plants and animals, traditional medicines, fire-making skills, and how to care for the land. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and understand the importance of looking after our country.
High School Transition
In Term 4, our year 6 jarjumeer participate in a transition program to Ballina Coast High School. They get to join cooking classes, explore the marine biology labs, create projects using the laser cutter, and learn how to navigate their new school. This program helps our students feel confident and ready for the next step in their learning journey.
